We are excited for this years gathering. We’ve invited Erin Jones to inspire, encourage, and challenge us.
Living a life of courageous love requires a collective will to come together as listeners, learners, and servant-leaders. It is in such a space where we hope to discover fresh inspiration, resources, tools, and ideas to equip and empower each other to do the work of reconciliation in our respective spheres of access and influence.
Join us as we lay down our differences in order to ask the Living Triune God, in one voice, to bless our region and move us forward in our quest to be a “city of choice.”
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
John 13:34-35 (NIV)
“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.”
John 17:20-23 (NIV)
Erin is a dedicated and award winning educator. For the past 26 years she has taught in some of the most diverse communities throughout the nation. She has won awards for her innovation and teaching. Most notably receiving recognition from the White House in 2013 as a “Champion of Change” and was recognized by Washington State PTA’s “Outstanding Educator” in 2015.
Since leaving education she has worked as an executive for two State Superintendents along with a run as a candidate for the State Superindent. She felt a call from God to use all of her experiences and multicultural life experiences to help build bridges across difference – in schools, churches, businesses and non-profits.
She has been married for 25 years to her wonderful husband, James, and they have three children.
For over a decade John has had the joy of being the senior pastor and head of staff at First Presbyterian Church. He loves being a pastor to a church comprised of people who love Jesus, immerse themselves in His word, and live out his call in their lives. He has been married for 33 years and has two children.
When not in the church, you can find John in the kitchen, in his backyard tending his smoker, taking a long walk in the beautiful city of Spokane, on the golf course, hanging out with friends, or reading a good book.

We gather together to seek God and to pray for leaders who serve our communities.
We intentionally lay down our differences in order to ask the Living God, in one collective voice, to bless our region.
In the Spirit of Jesus Christ, we will turn away from the actions and the attitude that either separate us from the Living God or divide our communities. We will actively pursue reconciliation.
